Remember that multiples are what you get when you multiply by whole numbers, so the first three multiples are from multiplying by 2, 3, and 4 (since times 1 is still 5/9, five ninths).
(5/9)2 = (5/9)(2/1) = 10/9 = 1 1/9
(5/9)(3/1) = 15/9 = 5/3 = 1 2/3
