We are given that 7*3 = 20 and 5*6 = 22. 
 
To solve 25*35 in this question you have to write 25 and 35 in terms of something you can solve for using the two equations above. If we factor these we get 
 
35 = 7*5 and 25 = 5*5
 
Since 7 and 5 are both terms in the original equations, we can figure out what they should be by rearranging the original equations 
 
7*3 = 20 
Divide both sides by 3 to give
7 = 20/3
 
5*6 = 22
Divide both sides by 6 to give
5 = 22/6 which can be simplified to 5 = 11/3
 
Now we can use these to find out what 35 and 25 should be by plugging them in:
 
35 = 7*5 = (20/3)*(11/3) = 220/9
 
25 = 5*5 = (11/3)*(11/3) = 121/9
 
So 35*25 = (220/9)*(121/9) = 26620/81 ≈328.64
