Dot products of unit parallel vectors

how come do we know that i hat and i hat are parallel same is with j and k cuz this is from three dimension system where i j and k are prependicular to each other

As worded, the question asks how we know i is parallel to i, j is parallel to j, and k is parallel to k.  EVERY vector is parallel to itself.  Are you sure this is what you intended to ask?
