Hey, so I missed a couple days of my math class and I have absolutely no idea how to figure this out! Hope someone out there does! Thanks!

I'll do this one, too, since it's slightly different than the other.

 

f(3) = |2(3) - 7|

f(3) = |6 - 7|

f(3) = |-1|

f(3) = 1

 

Remember that absolute value is distance from 0, and we measure distance positively. That's why 100 and -100 have the same absolute value.
