How to work problem

If it takes a man 7 1/3 hrs to plant 11 trees how long does it take him to any one. I know the answer . Nut need to show work how answer was obtained.

7 1/3 ÷ 11 = 22/3 x 1/11 = 2/3 of a tree

Carol, you have given a good answer, ASSUMING that the question had been written clearly (asking for the unit rate, in effect).
This is OK but I always think that deficiencies in a problem's specification ought to receive comment.
Also, what do you suppose is the purpose of the first word (3 letters) in student's last sentence?
