W e can compare fractions with the same numerators ( for example 2/5 , 2/7, 2/9),
or fractions with the same denominators.
5 is a prime number, 6 = 2·3 and 7 is a prime number. Since those number do not have common factors, the least common multiple will be their product: 5·6·7 = 210 .
For fractions 1/6 , 2/5 , 3/7 , 3/5 "210" will be the LCD (Least Common Denominator)
1·35/210 , 2·42/210 , 3·30/210 , 3·42/210
35/210 84/210 90/210 126/210
Given fractions are already in order from least to greatest.
