I'm at a loss. How do I integrate?

Integrate (7+10cot(x))/(10-7cot(x)) from pi/4 to pi/2

Nice Phillip! It looked contrived to me, so I tried a u-sub. Obviously, I made an error or it would have fallen into place as beautifully as when you did it.
Thanks much.

Thanks for responding Richard, but this won't work for me. I've got only certain methods to work with. Any combination of u-substitution, integration by parts, trig substitution, and partial fraction decomposition may be employed. No tables.
I did try rewriting the integrand both the way you did and splitting into two integrals. Neither seemed fruitful.
any other ideas?
