A small door is rectangular with a semi circular window cut out from it. Calculate the area of wood required to make the door.

A = lw

A = 34.6(90)

A = 3114 cm²

 

Semicircular:

A = (1/2)πr²

A = (1/2)(3.14)(13)²

A = 265.33 cm²

 

3114 - 265.33 = 2848.67 cm²
