Hello,
I reviewed my problem and it is as follows:
- How much pure acid can be mixed with 6 gallons of a 50% acid solution in order to get an 80% acid solution.
However there is a 3 as a choice. (as well as 9 gal, 24 gal, and 15 gal)

multiplication mishap
80 x 6 = 480 rather than 240
then 20x = 180
x = 9 gallons which is same answer I got
