Use the slope (m) formula below to find the slopes of lines WX and YZ:
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
If the slopes are equal, the lines are parallel. If the slopes are negative reciprocals of one another (e.g, 3 and -1/3) , then they are perpendicular.
