How to find total distance from a velocity-time graph

I was asked to find the total distance of the car from t=0 to t=24 from my velocity-time graph.  The hint the teacher gave us was to make use of the kinematic equations for constant acceleration.  I'm not really sure how to go about this.

The slope of the line on a velocity-time graph gives you the acceleration.  Does that help?
