The right side of the equation appears to be 2(pi)r2 and that would be the area of two circles.
So I believe it's likely that there's a mistake!
But if you wish to have the equation taken at face value, then first divide both sides of the equation by 6.28; this will isolate r squared, and all you would have to do would be to take the square root of that quotient (50.24/6.28).
Also, it's not accurate to use the value 3.14 for pi.
