It’s a s a right triangle one side is 53 degrees and the  hypotenuse  Is 45now I’m just trying to solve for x

draw the right triangle

call the vertical leg "a" and call the horizontal leg "b"

one angle is 53º, one angle is 90º, and the third angle is 90-53=37º

sin53=a/45

0.7986=a/45

a=45(0.7986)

a=35.937

cos53=b/45

0.6018=b/45

b=45(0.6018)

b=27.081

now you have all the angles and all the sides; choose which one you need

    You need to identify which leg has a value of "x."  Also, is the hypotenuse 45 what?  Is is meters or feet?  Are you told what the measurement is?  After you're are more specific, it won't be a problem to help you.
