kHz wavelengths

the wavelength (w) of a wave varies inversely as its frequency (f). A wave with a frequency of 400 kHz (kilohertz) has a length og 245 m. What is the length of a wave with a frequency of 500 kHz?

λ₁f₁ = λ₂f₂

 

λ₂ = λ₁f₁/f₂ = (245 m)(400 kHz)/(500 kHz) = 196 m
