what is the meaning of 'Man Of Steal'?

I saw on tshirt that print this : 'Man of Steal' .Is this correct?

It's a joke, son.  A play on words (Man of steel being Superman, or perhaps Stallin to a staunch old line Russian Communist).  Literally, man of steal means thief.

 

Or it could be Lou Brock or Maury Wills or Ricky Henderson, famed baseball base stealers.

 

Or could it be Bernie Madoff (who made off with investor money) who wound up in jail.
