and compare the definition with your question, time, t could be considered the x-axis.
|f(t)| <= M
that is, in order for f(t) to be called a bounded function of t, it's absolute value has to be less than a real number, M. Otherwise, it is unbounded.
It could be bounded on upper or lower side of the t axis in the domain and bounded by value of the function on the upper or lower side in the range.
Do you get what I am saying?
