Use the equation d=0.15t.

A plane is flying from New York city to Los Angeles.
How fast is the plane flying? Make sure to include units.

Would you use the actual distance?
That is what I am confused on.

If you know the distance traveled and the time it took to travel the distance, then the speed is just the distance traveled divided by the travel time.

But that is what I don't kmow I think that the problem is missing information.

Can you restate the problem EXACTLY as it appears in your book?

My teacher told me I was just supposed to interpret what 0.15 means.

Then look at my original solution.

v = d/t = (0.15t)/t = 0.15

v = 0.15 distance units per time units

But you need to state what those units are.  They were not stated in the problem description.
