A bakery puts 3 chocolate cupcakes and 3 vanilla cupcakes in a box. It sells 5 of these boxes on Monday. How many cupcakes did the bakery sell on Monday? If they sell 60 cupcakes, then how many boxes did they use?

Each box contains 6 cupcakes (3 of each) so if they sold 5 boxes, that would be 6*5 or 30 cupcakes.

If they sold 60 cupcakes, that would be 60/6 or 10 boxes
