25y^2=-10y=0. Solve for y

I forgot how to do this but I'm pretty sure that you factor first.

1.  put all terms on one side; 25y2 + 10y = 0
2.  factor and solve by using zero product property.
3.  THIS SKILL is not something that you should ever forget since it recurs frequently in all mathematics.

25y2 + 10y = 5y(5y + 2)
 
By the way, you have 2 equal signs in the problem statement.  You should edit it to show what you really meant to say.
