you get in a drawing where there are only 100 entrees . they drawl one winner every week for 26 weeks, so what are your over all chances of winning at least one time ?  .

a nicety that should be answered is...are winning tickets returned to the pool (so that a given person could win more than once)?  That does seem to be implied by the expression"winning at least one time."

 

You say there are 100 entrees--you meant entries.

 

P(losing every time) = (99/100)²⁶

 

P(winning at least once = 1 - the above number.
