Assuming that the surface has a coefficient of kinetic friction of 0.3, how far up the plane will the block go before stopping? I got a = -g*[sinΘ + µ*cosΘ] = -8.551 m/s²
d = v²/(2a) = 0.0154 m but it isn't right.

Check your math. and don't forget the term vo^2 and 2ad are on the same side.
