If 2n-1 is an odd number, the next would be 2n+1 and after that 2n+3.

(2n-1)*(2n+1)-8=2n+3

4n²-2n-12=0

2n2-n-6=0

n=2

Let x + 2 = the middle integer

Let x + 4 = the largest integer

x(x + 2) = x + 4 + 8

x² + 2x = x + 12

x² + x - 12 = 0

(x + 4)(x - 3) = 0

x - 3 = 0

x = 3

x + 2 = 5

x + 4 = 7
