the length of lady liberty's arm is 42 feet, the students arm is 2 feet and is 5.3 feet tall. how tall is lady liberty

 I do not understand how to do this. I tried everything but i cannot seem to get the correct answer which is supposed to be 112 feet.

I will assume that lady liberty and the student are in proportion to each other.

Let x = the height of lady liberty

height/arm length:  5.3/2 = x/42       Cross multiply

2x = 222.6

x = 111.3 feet
