what is the 8 multiples

In multiplecation I got confused on the of multiples 8 so what are the of multiples on 8?

Just do the addition to find the multiples:

 

8x1 = 8

8x2 = 8+8 = 16

8x3 = 16+8 = 24

8x4 = 24+8 = 32

8x5 = 32+8 = 40

 

and so forth.  Just add another 8 each time...

48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, 104, ...

Multiples of 8 is a shortcut way of asking how to add 8 to itself- again and again.

When you are adding multiples you can start by writing it out this way:

 

Example

7 + 7 + 7 +7 +7+7+...+7 and it continues!

For the first multiple it would be

 

7

The second

 

7+7 = 14

 

The third we use the above problem and continue

 

7 + 7 + 7 = 14 + 7 = 21 

 

or in another form

 

 14

+7    (7 + 4) = 11, put 1 below, and add 1 to the tens column

____
21

 

This method continues for each multiple.
So then

Fourth multiple.
7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 21 + 7 = 28
