Hi,
The water flowing in the tube is 30m/s and the cross-sectional diameter for the tube is 2.4cm. The shower hits the plate, which is transported in the water direction at 6.0 m / s. How force the water affect to plate?

You probably saw in class the formula
F = ρA(v - u)2
A = cross sectional area of the water flow
ρ = density of water
v = speed of water flow
u = speed of plate if the plate is moving in the same direction as the water
This assumes the plate is oriented perpendicular to the water flow.
Look up the density of water in kg/m3.
A = πd2/4 = π(0.024 m)2/4 = ?
v = 30 m/s
u = 6.0 m/s
Plug in the numbers and get F in newtons.
