The earth travels 584 million miles in it's path around the sun.
We are looking for miles per day which is miles/days
(584,000,000 miles)/(365 days) =
Since we want x in millions we can use: 584/365 = 1.6 million miles per day

Note: If the earth is 93 million miles from our sun, the circumference traveled in a year is 3.14*2*93 million = 584 million.
