Here is you problem: (3x − 8)3x when we change it to 3x(3x − 8)
it is the same as 4 x 2 and 2 x 4 or (4)(2) and (2)(4)
it will be the same answer
Now all you will do next is multiply each of the values in
your equation. So set up your equation like this:
(3x) times each of the values in (3x − 8)
the next step will look like this:
(3x) times (3x) and (3x) times (8)
let's not forget the minus sign, so it will look like this
[(3x)(3x) - (3x)(8)]
Complete the multiplication and that will be the product
The rest is up to you.
