I am thinking along the "I am a work in progress.." line but feel like I need to stress progress I have made and continue..... Oh geez does this make any sense ?? please help.. please be honest lol won't be offended

If you are concerned with writing style and clarity, I recommend that "lol" be banished immediately and permanently.
If you want to say something along the lines of all life being a progress toward a goal (such as self-realization or enlightenment or perfection), then perhaps a phrase such as "I think* that I'm making progress in my life" sounds OK.
*(I prefer 'think' to 'feel' in such instances.)
Yes, we are all a work in progress, unless we are not striving to progress.
When your first draft is completed, read it--ALOUD--and see how it sounds. Revise and repeat these steps until you have a satisfactory expression of what you mean, and of which you would be proud to have others read.
