1.26f = 39

f = 39/1.26

f = $30.95  food cost before tax and servce charge

 

food service charge: 30.95(0.2) = $6.19

tax on food:  30.95(.06) = $1.86

 

Check: 36 + 30.95 + 6.19 + 1.86 = $75
