X + Y = 7 <--- the sum of the numbers is 7
X - Y = 7 <--- the difference of the numbers is 7
2x = 14 <-- adds the equations together, the Y cancels out
X = 14/2 = 7
Then y MUST be zer0.
So yes it is possible.
7 + 0 = 7
7 - 0 = 7
