When corrected, as "Solve the equation: 27^(1−x)= 81 without using logarithms" use 3^(3*(1-x)) = 3^4; now both sides have the same base, three, and you then EQUATE THE EXPONENTS to get 3(1-x) = 4 and the rest will be quite easy.
