A guy wire whose grounded end is 16 ft from the pole it supports makes an angle 56 degrees with the ground.  How long is the wire.

Make a drawing, and label it. It's a right triangle.  Label the hypotenuse (wire) w. The acute angle with the ground is 56 degrees and the horizontal leg is 16 ft.
