Using T-Inspire CX Cas with linear functions?

Having trouble plugging in the numbers on my calculator and getting the correct answer. Solve for T rounding to nearest integer.

28=5+0.45t

 

how do I get this to function properly on the calculator?

t = 23/,45 = 51.111... = 51 1/9 = 459/9

put new batteries in your calculator

get a new calculator

or

use an online equation solver

or

graph the line and find the x intercept= zero=root

don't make the calculator do stuff you can easily mentally calculate

just plug in 23 then the division sign, then .45, then the answer key

that's all you need. the more stuff you try to key in the more likely you mess it up

get a bigger better beautiful calculator, big enough so your fat fingers don't accidentally hit the wrong keys

and so your fading eyesight can see the keys without too much eye strain or a magnifying glass
