Calculus will seem easy if you have the right tutor!
Your must multiply the stated rate of cu ft per second by the number of seconds.
1 minute is 60 seconds; 60 min is one hour, so there are 3600 seconds per hour.
Then to find the discharge per year, use 24 hours times 365 days to get 1 year = 24(365)3600)(4,300,000) cu ft per year.
