In regards to ordering bulk ingredients

you order 16 ingredients. all min order qty's are different but sum up to weight of 495 lbs. The total cost for these 16 ingredients @495 lbs is $1787,- I assume the avg. cost per lbs is 1787/496. BUT why does the avg. cost per lbs of total order not match up with the avg. cost per lbs when first calculating individual lbs price per ingredient based on min order, then sum up and divide by 16 ingredients? What am I missing??
