i) hk(x) should be written as h(x)k(x) if you mean to multiply two quantities; or should be written as (hok)(x) if you intended to do composition of functions.
Since your notation is unclear, I request that you clarify these problems (all iv of them), resubmit, and someone will come along to help.

h(x) = 1+3x and k(x) = x+2
(i) (hok) (x) means h( k(x) ) so it's 1 + 3 (x+2) which is 3x + 7.
ii) just use the above result, substituting 4 in place of x, now.
iii) just do the usual INVERSE PROCEDURE on the result that I supplied in i). That is, interchange x & y, then solve for y, and then call it (hok) -1(x), the inverse of the composition of h with k.
