The first thing you are told for this problem is 22 which = 4 , so we can say 4 * 2 +32 =100
So, if we divide both sides by 4 then, 2 +32 = 100 ÷ 4 ---> 2 +32 = 25 , now we can use some order of operations and find out where the parentheses should be.
Does 2 + (32) = 25? .... no
Does (2 + 3)2 = 25? .....yes
So, the final equation is : 22 * (2 + 3)2 = 100
