Using v2-u2 = 2as,
3.82 = 2a6.8 , => 1a = 3.8^2 /6.8
if v be the speed at 3.4 m from the top, v2 = 2a3.4= (3.8^2 /6.8)*3.4 = 3.8^2 /2
v = 3.8/√2 =2.687
Speed is 2.687 m/s.
