asked 10/07/17factoring (x^+y^)(x^3+y^3)
I need to factor (x^+y^)(x^3+y^3) to get a polynomial that contains Only x+y and xy. Is this possible?

x3 + y3 is a sum of perfect cubes.
x3 + y3 = (x + y)(x2 - xy + y2)
Multiply this by the other factor.
