is there a mathematical notation (variable) which means "largest" (i.e. largest side/ largest value)? if so what is it?

for example: in the equation a+b=c/2if I wanted to change it to a+b+...Ω="Largest side/value"/2 what symbol/notation would I use to denote the "Largest side/value" with 'Ω' meaning the end variable of an unknown number of variables (assume 500+ variables)

Ancillary question: in the above example I used /2 on the end... what if I wanted to say / # of variables present? how would I say that in formulaic terms? (i.e. a+b=q/2  but  a+b+c+d= q/4 or a+b+c+...+n= q/? (I don't want to use 'n' here)

while this works in excel (and can be programmed and/or done in most programming languages) I intend to use this formulaically using only notations found in the mathematical lexicon. Is there any (non-programming based) way of declaring the same thing?
