All you need to do is find the per juice

cost at each rate.  

 

Dollars per pack:

1.09/3 = $0.363 each

4.38/12 = $0.365 each

8.79/24 = $0.366 each

 

The cheapest per juice is the 3 pack

For a comparison in unit price for each juice quantity, divide each total cost by the number of containers of juice in a pack. i.e.,

$1.09/3 = $0.363 per juice.

$4.38/12 = $0.365 per juice and

$8.79/24 = $0.366 per juice.

 

The best buy is the three pack for $1.09, the unit cost rounds to $0.36 per juice whereas the other two pack amounts and prices round to $0.37 per juice. But all of the unit prices are very close to each other.
