Andy gave you a good solution. I just want to point out two other ways to solve the problem. You could start with the higher number. Call it n. Then
n + (n - 2) + (n - 4) = 105
3n - 6 = 105
3n = 111
n = 37
Then the 3 numbers are
37
37 - 2 = 35
37 - 4 = 33
You could also start with the number in the middle. Call it m.
m + (m - 2) + (m + 2) = 105
3m = 105
m = 35
The 3 numbers are
35
35 - 2 = 33
35 + 2 = 37
Same answer, just slightly different approaches to solve the problem.
