yes the answer is d. If the transparent glass absorbed the visible light then you wouldn't be able to see the other side of the glass. The photons do not have enough energy to excite the molecules and therefore goes through the glass. If the photon has the same energy as the natural frequencies of the electron levels, it would be absorbed but it isn't, so it does not get absorbed.
