How do I write this python program?

Question

Write a python program to find the 1000th prime number. 

 

Here's what I wrote:

def nthprime(n):

     print nthprime(1000)

 

and when I run it, I got nothing. What's wrong with my code? Please provide me a very short accurate code for this python program. And tell me the right answer. Thanks.
