help with scientific method experiment

I am setting up an experiment to see how temperture affects the rate at which gelatin gels.  which of the following is a possible hypothesis for the experiment?

a.  how does temperature affect the rate at which gelatin gels?    I say no
b.  Brand x gelatin will gel more quickly at lower temperatures than brand y gelatin.   I say maybe
c.  at a temperature of 30degreesF brand x gelatin will gel more quickly than at temperatues between 30 degrees and 40 degress.    I say no
d.  Gelatin dissolves more quickly in hot wat than in cold.   I think this is the correct answer

2. Which factor(s) should be constant throughout the experiment?

a.  the brand of gelatin used.  I say yes
b.  the temperature of the area where each gelatin container is being tested.
c.  the amount of gelatin used in each container.  I say yes
d.  the time it takes for the gelatin to gel

If the hypothesis is correct, which factors would be expected to vary with temperature in the experiment?  Choose as many as apply.

a.  the brand of gelatin used.  I say no
b.  the temperature of the area where each gelatin container is being tested.
c.  the amount of gelatin used in each containter
d.  the time it takes for the gelatin to gel.  I think yes

Which factor in question #2 is the independent variable  and which is the dependent variable?

a.  the brand of gelatin used
b.  the temperature of the area where each gelatin container is being tested
c.  the amount of gelatin used in each container
d.  the time it takes for the gelatin to gel

On which axis should you traditionally plot the data for the independent variable?

a.  x-axis
b.  y-axix

In the experiment the container of gelatin which is kept at 30 degrees F is a(n)

a.  independent variable
b.  dependent variable
c.  control
d.  constant

a big thanks
