Find simplified formula and domain

Given S(x)=x+2 & f(x)=2x+4
So find simplified formula and Domain of v(x)=s/t(x) & w(x)=t/s(x)

Michael J.

You don't have a function for t(x).

That is all im given for a question?

Then where does f(x)=2x+4 fit into the question?  You can't use it based on the information given here.  Did you copy the question correctly?

Plus, your notation of s/t(x) and t/s(x) is not written correctly.  It should be  (s/t)(x) and (t/s)(x).

This is how its all written....
Given S(x)=x+2 & f(x)=2x+4. Find the simplified formula and domain v(x)=(s/t)(x) and w(x)=(t/s)(x)

I see that.  But you don't have a defined function for t(x).  The information wants you to use t(x).  You only have s(x) and f(x) defined.  You cannot use f(x) based on the given information.  That is what I am saying.  Your post is no good here.

I think that f(x) is actually a t(x)..... i think its a misprint.... does that help?
