Calculating the sides of an Irregular Octagon

I am trying to build an Octagon box. It is an irregular hexagon in that the front and back are 5 feet across, the left and the right sides are 4 feet long. I can't figure out the other 4 smaller sides that will connect the front and back to the sides. Any help in how to figure it out? Thank you

If you're talking about an octagonal box in PLAN VIEW then there should be no mention of hexagons. An octagon is not a three dimensional solid. I think you need to work on a better description of what you are doing. Are you talking about a box whose cross section is an irregular hexagon?? If the hexagon is irregular, you'll have a lot of freedom in choosing side lengths.
