your final exam is worth 5%
your 75 that you have now is worth 95%
95%*75=71.25
even if you don't take your final you will get a 71.25
if you got a 50 on your final you would have 95%*75+5%*50 which equals
71.25+2.5=73.75
if you got a 60, you would have 71.25+5%*60=71.25+3=74.25
if you got a 70, you would have 71.25+5%*70=71.25+3.5=74.75
if you got a "0" on the final you would have a 71.25+0=71.25
95%*75+5%*FINAL≥70
71.25+0.05*FINAL≥70
0.05*FINAL≥70-71.25
0.05*FINAL≥-1.25
you would have to get less than "0" to get a 70 for a year grade
you have a 71.25 year grade now no matter what you get on your final exam
however, I would still study and try to get the best possible grade
