Determine Slope: First, the equation for a line is y=mx+b, solve for slope (m)
Since x is your variable, the equation is written y=0*x+7
y=7 is a horizontal line
Lastly, m=0
Parallel lines have the same slope (m) but different y-intercepts (b), reuse the equation for a line to find a parallel line.
Perpendicular lines have the product of the slope to equal -1. Since there is no product algebraically that equals 0*(-m)=-1, the perpendicular slope is undefined since there would be a zero in the denominator (rearranging the equation for a perpendicular slope -m=-1/0==> undefined)
Hope that helps.
