I forgot to say it sells by 1 cubic yard covers 120 square feet...so how many yards do I need?

You have 800 square feet (Area = 40x20),  Divide that by 120 gives you
You have 800 square feet (Area = 40x20). Divide that by 120 gives you 6.66 cubic yards, so buy 7 cubic yards.
The area to be covered is 40 feet times 20.5 feet = 820 square feet. if a cubic yard covers 120 square feet, then divide 820 by 120 and you will get 6.83 cubic yards. Buy seven.
